Open Question: Bridal Shower GIFTS!!!!?

I am having 2 showers, what am I going to do with all these gifts I mean its a blessing but my family is huge so at each shower we are having about 30 ladies attend plus 200 guests at our wedding I just ran that math in my bridal brain and went WTH? I registered for mainly upgrades because we have been living together for a year and we both had our own places before living together but my family is all excited for me I have never been married before and we are having a very traditional wedding with all the bells so the gifts are going to pour in by the truckloads, need advice from former brides what did you do with all this new stuff? we registered at Target and Bed B and Beyond. NO I WOULD NEVER RETURN GIFTS FOR CASH BUT I DONT REALLY NEED 5 IRONS would it be ok to exchange duplicate gifts?
