Open Question: he thinks i obsess about marriage, normal or not?

we have been dating for 4 1/2 years and have known eachother about 9 years. i just feel its right, but he of course doesnt see why anything should change as we live together and everything (i know, my bad!) I am 23 and he's 29, i know he isnt just using me but whenever the topic comes up, he throws a time-frame on it like 'oh when you're 23' now suddenly "when you're 24' and he says i obsess about getting married although i feel that as a female, it's completely natural to have the entire event planned down to the T in your head by the age of 10. It's not about the ring, or the dress, the gifts or attention, i am just ready to take the next step in the relationship.
